Happy 35th Birthday Doug!

the cowboy in me

whoa… slow down! It has been a whirlwind. Doug and I had a couple of hours on Monday to catch up and talk about Canvas stuff. That got me excited to get things going. So much is starting to happen. I think it will be here before we know it.

My cousin Michelle and her husband Silas drove here from Oklahoma (yes i said drove) arriving monday night. here are a few photos of our Savannah outings… (1) We had a real cowboys and indians moment. Well, at least the cowboy was real… (2) we went to eat at Lady & Sons and they had their photo taken with Jamie & Bobby Deen (Paula’s sons)
We are leaving early in the morning to drive up to Atlanta for Jared & April’s wedding. I am so excited for those guys! I can’t wait to get there and see all my friends and family… And go to CHURCH!

Gotta go… Silas and I are having a rather intense discussion about produce.

Just a few thoughts about August 9th…

1924:

my grandmother Virginia was born in Atlanta, Georgia

2007:

it was a year ago today that Doug and I tried to go to Salt Lake City. Right about now we were driving back to Atlanta from Houston, Texas. Look at how much our lives have changed in the past 12 months. 

2008:

My friends Jeff & Meredith welcomed their baby girl Lily this morning at around 12:30. Congratulations guys! I wish i could have been there!

 

Rhythm Of The Rain

• It’s still hot here
• it rains everyday
• i waited in line last night until 12:30am to buy the new Stephenie Meyer book. I was the only person over 18… I felt like an idiot.
• I have been reading it since I bought it
• I am photographing a wedding this weekend. The rehearsal was at Chuck-E-Cheese. It was really cool. 
• Kendal, Justin and the kids moved down here last weekend
• Doug, Shelly and the kids are moving down here tomorrow
• Jared is moving all their stuff down on Monday
• I wish Mark, Trisha & Trey could sell their house soon!
